Holly Hamilton started performing professinally after graduating high school in 1986. She performed regularly at The Little Nashville Opry in Nashville, Indiana for 11 years.

During this period, Holly also started traveling and performing making her way across the U.S. performing at fairs, festivals and opry's. In the early 90's Holly made her way to Nashville, Tennessee, which soon became her new home. She recorded two singles with legendary producer, Jimmy Darrell and released them on  Tanna Records.

Holly was instrumental in choosing the material to record which soon paid off. She recieved many honors and awards for both singles, including Record of the Year by the CCMA, as well as Single of the Year. Both were top ten hits.

The single releases opened many doors for Hamilton, including the opportunity to work with acts such as Tanya Tucker, Randy Travis, Sawyer Brown, David Ball, Pam Tillis, Eddie Raven, Aaron Tippin, Charlie Daniels and many more...

Soon Hamilton was playing Vegas and recieving honors like Star of Tomorrow, Female Vocalist of The Year, as well as Entertainer of the Year by both the CCMA and ICMA. Radio seemed to have responded very well,  promotional work with tv went just as well.

Holly had taped many programs with TNN (The Nashville Network) and that opened a whole different world of opportunities, she felt truly blessed.

Not too long after Holly's achievements, her father/manager, Garry Hamilton was diagnosed with diabetes, although Holly continued to travel and perform, including a stint on The Carnival Cruise Line, she knew that her father and family needed her.

As word of her fathers illness progressed, she moved back home from Nashville to Indiana to help her ailing father, who had endured over 30 major operations, including amputations of both legs. Soon Holly and her familys dreams of success in music were halted and Holly lost her father on March 23, 2007.

"He was the reason I chose the career I did" Hamilton states, "if it was not for my fathers love of music and belief in me, I would have never stepped on a stage."  "He was my number one inspiaration!"

Holly has since put music on the back burner and is enjoying spending time with her mother and sisters.

"I have been very fortunate and very blessed but I also learned that there is nothing in this world more important than God and having your health and family. If it wasnt for that, life would mean nothing at all."
